Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your computer, mobile telephone or other devices when you visit the website for the first time. Cookies help the website, or other websites, to recognize your device the next time you visit. Web beacons or other similar files perform the same function. We use the term ‘Cookies’ in this policy statement to refer to all the files that collect data in this way. We only use Cookies in accordance with the relevant legislation.

Cookies perform different functions. Not only do they help us remember your log-in details, your authentication details and other essential information, they also help with other, non-essential information such as preferences. Cookies also help us analyze the effectiveness of our website, and enable us to recommend content that we believe is very relevant to you. Certain Cookies contain personal information – for instance, if you click on ‘remember me’ when logging in, a Cookie will store your user name. Most Cookies do not collect data that can identify you and will instead gather more general information, such as how visitors come to our website, how they use the website, as well as the general location of the visitor.
