The juries praised Schiphol.com’s user-friendly environment and abundance of relevant passenger and airport visitor information, and were impressed by its attractive look and range of language options.
The content of Schiphol.com was recently reorganized and the navigation structure adjusted. The airport’s website also has its own video channel - SchipholTV.
Flight information, the most popular section of the website, has been expanded and now features prominently on the homepage. A parking guide has also been added, providing visitors with information about where to park at Schiphol.
Before the actual redesign, Schiphol.com was successfully migrated to GX WebManager 9.
Schiphol.com was awarded the gold ‘Webbie’, followed by the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (silver) and Manchester Airport (bronze) websites.
